Talk Less, Do More: Unlock Protocol makes it easy to do Web3

I stumbled upon Unlock Protocol over a year ago while digging deep into my Web3 learning.

Some of my frustration with understanding Web3 is that I was simply reading or watching others build things. I needed to get my hands dirty and actually make something to know how it works.

I was happy to discover the user-friendly platform and Patrick Workman to help me get started. I used Unlock to create my NFT “thank you card,” participate in their Advent calendar activity last December, and test out membership NFTs with token-gated communities.

In an article by Patrick Workman and Qin En Looi for Safary’s Web3 Growth newsletter, they spotlight five easy tools to create using Unlock Protocol.

  1. Flocker: Create a membership smart contract in one minute. You can OWN your audience by deploying a membership contract using this tool.

  2. Event management: Register for events using wallet addresses and use them to access token-gated communities.

  3. Membership management: Use an Unlock smart contract to create a membership program (either free or paid). View information about your members on a dashboard to aid in management and interaction.

  4. Certifications: Deploy a contract, issue credentials, and perform verification for your training programs. It is quick and straightforward to use.

  5. ALPHAtweet: Send out a tweet and get paid. Share that tweet and get paid. Woah. You should check it out in this quick 3-minute video: https://youtu.be/sUTaz7-MakY

Read the Web3 Growth by Safary newsletter for a full explanation of these five tools, or visit Unlock’s website https://unlock-protocol.com/.

Unlock Protocol has proven to be a valuable and user-friendly platform for individuals seeking to actively engage with Web3 and gain hands-on experience to understand the workings of this new technology.
