These 5 podcasts will open your mind to possibilities for your business in this new digital age of Web3.

Excellent interviewing skills with significant players in the Web3 space

Crypto Business Podcast is by far my favorite. Mike Stelzner is the persuasive voice that got me started in the first place with Web3. His company, Social Media Examiner, has been providing educational content for marketers for years. He understands what businesses need and how to explain it in a way that is easy to understand and actionable.

The people he interviews are experienced marketers and bring a wealth of understanding of the business world and Web3. He makes sure every interviewer tells their Web3 story, which is inspiring and insightful. When someone goes in a bit too deep, he rephrases their statements for clarity and understanding. Episodes come out each Friday and last around 45 minutes.

Improve your marketing and see what's possible

Mark Robinson is head of social media at Brandtegic and co-founder of the NFT Seattle conference. He brings his marketing background to his podcast, Marketing in the Metaverse. Because much of Web3 is related to marketing and community building, I appreciate his interviews with people who understand how to transition to using digital assets to bring awareness to their products and services.

He discusses various niches from hip-hop culture to healthcare along with art, community building, and the metaverse from a marketer's point of view. The interviews run between 15 and 35 minutes and can give you a good foundational understanding of how to use blockchain technology in your business.

Dive into NFTs with content creators and marketers for their points of view

I found Lauren Turton's Freedom with NFTs podcast early on in my NFT journey and was excited to listen to a female point of view on the subject.

Her May 5, 2022 episode grabbed my attention first. She interviewed Mike Hermie, who is the owner of Everything Baseball Catalog. He uses NFTs to raise money for youth sports and as an educational tool to bring kids (and parents) into understanding Web3.

I appreciate her podcasts' "real world" experiences and interviews with people creatively using NFTs to boost their customer experiences. Musicians, artists, marketers, and non-profits offer their advice and share their experiences in these 18 to 30-minute interviews.

Get a little technical and see the big picture

While I like to listen to podcasts surrounding NFTs and social tokens primarily, there are, at times, it is essential to understand the cryptocurrency world as well. The Bad Crypto Podcast hosted by Joel Comm and Travis Wright is a duo that makes the serious subject of crypto a bit more fun. Their banter can be silly and borderline annoying (I say that with great admiration), but that keeps you coming back for more once you get used to it.

These guys are smart and interview some brilliant people deep into the blockchain, cryptocurrency, and NFT world. They discuss topics such as getting hacked, protecting your privacy, guidelines and regulations, current market conditions, trading, and crypto news. With over 600 episodes ranging from 30 minutes to around an hour to listen to, you will become an expert if you consume all of them.

Get ALL of your NFT questions answered

Brian Fanzo is everywhere there are an NFT these days. He decided in November 2021 to buy an NFT every day for 365 days and talk about it. Hence his podcast, NFT 365. He speaks to founders of projects, executives, and artists to understand their stories and give insight into their projects.

Because there is an episode every day, it can be a bit overwhelming to keep up (I'm impressed that he has fulfilled his promise of delivering). If you have any questions related to NFTs, you can find the answer in one of his episodes that varies in time between 15 minutes to an hour.

Bonus #6

There are many more podcasts that will help educate and inform the beginner in Web3 that I have yet to discover. One honorable mention is a new podcast in the works Web3 Doers Podcast from Chris Koronowski. He has many outstanding guests who are creating projects in the Web3 space. I'm sure it will be a good one from what I have experienced each day from Chris's valuable LinkedIn content.

These just scratch the surface

Each podcast brings a diverse set of guests and points of view. Once in a while, you will have one of these podcasters on another show. It is fun to hear the interviewer become the interviewee and have a new perspective on the subject.

Blockchain technology can be intensely complicated, but with the creativity, unique interviewing skills, and insightful conversations, each podcast will teach and uncover amazing things in the new digital age.
